2024 Total Solar Eclipse Event Registration

News posted: 27 Mar 2023   |   Category: News » 2024 Total Solar Eclipse Event Registration

On Monday April 8th 2024, Lake Lemon will experience an event 800 years in the making. The Moon will pass between the Sun and Earth, creating a darkened sky and ring of light surrounding the sun.   Lying directly in the path of totality, Lake Lemon will experience over 4 minutes of total eclipse, some of the longest in the country!

To celebrate this, Riddle Point Park will host camping where you can witness the celestial event while being surrounded on three sides by water. Watch as the moon’s shadow comes across the lake at 2,000 miles an hour.

The sky will darken as waterfowl, songbirds, frogs, and insects begin chirping as if it were dusk. While festivities will last all day, the partial eclipse will begin at 1:49 pm and last until 4:22 pm, with totality lasting from 3:04 pm – 3:08 pm.

Reservations are NOW OPEN for both RV and tent camping!

Lake Lemon is excited to offer this experience for you to witness such a rare event from both land and water in our unique natural setting. You will not want to miss this once in a lifetime experience!

Also, we are currently booking musicians and vendors! Click the button below to apply…
