Lake Lemon invites the public to brave its icy waters to help raise money for ongoing lake maintenance! Ross Carlson, LLCD Operations Supervisor, describes it as a great chance for summer visitors to experience the lake’s winter charm. The 3rd Annual Polar Plunge at Riddle Point Park promises a fun community event for locals and visitors alike. With warming fires, hot chocolate, tea, and candy at the shelter house, participants can thaw out after the plunge. A $10 donation is suggested, and those giving $35 or more get a commemorative scarf. Preregistration opens soon!
