Rules & Ordinances
This page does not contain the entire Title 14 Indiana State Boating Laws or Lake Lemon Regulations, but emphasizes a few things every boater should observe to make boating safe and enjoyable for everyone. If in doubt of any rule or regulation, please check with the Lake Enforcement Officials or the Lake Manager. Complete Lake Lemon Boating rules and regulations are on file at the LLCD office.
Lake Lemon Permit
- All watercraft must be registered with the LLCD and issued a permit before launching. Such permit shall be displayed on the port (left) bow. Types of watercraft permits and costs.
- All watercraft must have a current state boat registration and carry an approved life jacket for each passenger. Oars/paddles and fire extinguishers are recommended.
- No watercraft shall exceed 30 feet in length.
